First thing I dug was his choice of covers to blend with his original songs. I quickly realized the difference of hearing Phil in a noisy room versus my living room. Then, not only do his songs range between humor (Regina at the Spirit Room) and bittersweet (Dink's Song,) his guitar fingerpicking is awesome!
