Here's a favorite Bob Dylan cover from a favorite Dylan album.
This is a John Hammond Jr. cover that I've been working on. I've seen him in concert several times and love his adherence to and respect for the blues.
This is my cover of a Dave Carter song. I learned it from a Chris Smither record. Smither does an amazing fingerstyle rendition that I can't come close to replicating but I'm putting it up here because it's such a great song.
Here's an original song, recorded on my first CD "The Whirligig of Time." It's a little surreal, admittedly, comparing a lovely woman to a citrus fruit, but then "Oh, she's so tart; I love her with all my heart," was reality-based when I wrote it.
A cover of Mike Dowling's instrumental "Swamp Dog Blues"
An original tune: "Blackjack Maisie" from my CD "Somewhere South of the Moon."
A cover of Guy Clark's "L.A. Freeway.
An original song "Hot Sauce Blues." Goes great with chicken wings.
